Summary
Remember this is a general fun guide, to help you get started with your Fit, Colour Style assessment. We tend to be drawn to the colours that we feel are our most flattering colours.
Which category – Daylight, Sunrise or Sunset – did you circle most for each personal features area?
If you circled two out of three categories, then this is definitely a start for your personal colour palate. If you marked a different one for each, then you are likely a Daylight palate because that is ultimately a combination of Sunrise and Sunset.
I am strong believer whenever I start working with a client that I can find up to 5 colours that are NOT black that will suit them better than “safe” black!
If ever in doubt when choosing a garment, always start by holding it up to your face and see if the colour “pops”, if it gives you that “Aha” feeling.
But if you truly love a colour that is NOT right for you, one option is to wear it as an accessory such as shoes, belt or purse. These items aren’t right up against your face so it’s easier to get away with wearing them.
Remember, it’s about experimenting and having fun with colour to express yourself.
